Mood: Alright Msn: Evan Lam, Kevin Hua and Vivian Lau Music: None Well today was like probably the best day of my life, Rofl BECAUSE I GOT TO SEE JESSICA MAUBOY. :D It was so sad really coz like me and Cindy Phan heard that she was coming so like we sat on the edge just to see her, when she came walking down she rejected me and gave Cindy a massive hand shake then when she walked back she rejected me again and gave Elena this hand shake thing. It's like omg, so close yet so far.. LoL omg she's so pretty and skinny now. She was so awesome and her voice is like ngaww. :D She sang Been waiting then Because and last but not least, Running Back. LoL omg man experience of a life time, even though she rejected me twice. I'm just so stunned that I got to meet such a wonderful person like her, I really do take all these experiences to heart. Like things like these happen once in a life time you know and it just really inspires you to reach for your goal, especially how shes categorized into... (more)

Homeward bound at last
The trip that was supposed to last for 2 weeks is now finally over, after 3 weeks. I'm happy to say that work wise it all went very well. We accomplished everything that we set out to accomplish and we also managed to launch another program. And after 3 weeks of extreme sleep deprivation, I'm ready for a short break. One of the mornings I decided to take the wheel as my colleague had to be on a call. While I was driving, I couldn't stop the feeling that the car seat was unusually warm. Bearing in mind it's actually summer here, it's not a nice warm feeling but more like I felt like my butt was getting cooked. When we stopped for coffee, I decided to check the car seat. Guess what? I accidentally turned the car seat heater on. Which explained why my butt was getting cooked. After we got coffee, I got back into the car and stared at my colleague for the car key. Turns out I left the car keys in my bag in the back seat. I had to get out, and grab the keys before continuing the drive... (more)

I don't know if I have mentioned this, but my sister got my Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta (2008) for me when she got back (Yay!). I went from liking it, to not liking it (because now it seems that every case is ALL ABOUT SCARPETTA. Yes, I know she's the protagonist of the series, but that doesn't mean EVERY suspect wants a bit of her), to thinking that "Ah, well, it's the same with CSI NY and Mac - I love him, but everything shouldn't be about him", to liking it again, not liking it, and loving the ending. As I read through, there were some stuff that amused me... - Scarpetta's birthday is June 12, same as Edmond. LOL - One of the characters studied in Cornell. - Jaime Beger - the DA in the story - studied in Columbia - Scarpetta did law in Georgetown - Old news - Lucy loves Ferraris. Maybe if Patricia Cornwell drove an Audi... Oh, also... Ms Ng was hilarious during ESL yesterday. We were talking about the short story and somehow went to the topic about kids/babies/innocence...
